My boyfriend married a woman from here in US and they just married a week ago. My question is?

can he divorce her and marry me and I continue his papers for residency withouth him being sent back to his country. He only did it to come back to be with me and for us to get married but there was no way for us to get married and we didnt want to wait.

A very confusing question.  It makes it sound like you are both illegal aliens and couldn't marry so he married an american to get to stay in this country. I see nothing but problems here as none of that would work.

You couldn't marry your bf?  Why?  Underage?  Not a US citizen?  Don't meet the requirements for sponsorship?  Interesting triangular marriage fraud.  He marries someone else for the green card, divorces her and marries you is the plan, huh?  And you already have an application filed on his behalf when he married the other woman.

Well, now you are stuck.  With a second application filed for the same guy's immigration, all three of you should land in prison for fraud.  Sure he can get a divorce, and get deported.  Enjoy your stay at taxpayer's expense.  Wish you could be deported, too.

That's a felony.  It also sounds like an awfully stupid way of trying to rectify a situation, not to mention that it's c**p like this that makes the honest marriages involving immigrants look suspect.

That is kind of crazy.  If he is your boyfrind, why is he married to someone else?  Why didn't he just marry you in the first place?  It makes no sense.  I'm sure it would work fine enough, its just not what I understand.

Yes,he can divorce her,but after only being married a short time,it will prove the fraud that is being committed.
