Question:

My boyfriend speaks in clear full sentences when he's asleep, even laughs and has conversations with me?

Is this normal? It happens almost every night. I thought that when people talked in their sleep it was normal to mumble and say things that are incoherent. How common is it for someone to be so clear? And I am 100% sure he is asleep when he's doing it.

  1. If I were you I would start asking him what the lottery numbers are going to be in my next conversation!

  2. when people talk in their sleep even if its a laugh something is going on in their head that makes this come out at night. take him to a therapist adn they can analyze whats happening and their dreams too

  3. Thats funny, I used to laugh out loud when I was asleep too, it used to scare they c**p out of my friends when we had sleep overs.  I dont think there's anything wrong with that.  My husband has talked to me in his sleep too. Asked me questions that eventhough were complete sentences, didn't make sense to me. Like, why are you using those? or something like that, in the middle of the night.  I dont think it's that normal to find somebody that speaks clearly almost everynight, but you can videotape him and show him later, that would be funny.

  4. I do it all the time. I have conversations with people like I am awake but I am really asleep.

One time I fell asleep during a movie while we had friends over and I sat up and starting talking to my husband. He realized I was asleep so he started laughing. Then I got upset and started to cry in my sleep - then everyone in the room started laughing, so I got more hysterical. My husband said that he had to pick me up and carry me to bed to get me to stop crying.

I also sleep walk - I have been found on the diving board of my parent's pool before.

When I was a kid I had night terrors really bad. The dreams would be so realistic that I would run through the house banging on doors screaming while I was still asleep.

I think some people are just really deep sleepers. I don't know why some people do it and some don't - but I would like to know why.

  5. When I was in a waking sleep (half way between sleep and awake) I would talk, complete sentences but utter nonesense. I think it's completely normal. In fact it's something that my husband and I now joke about.

  6. relieving his stresses from that day,,,, its normal i do it, but this can also get in in trouble
