My boyfriend suddenly signed an ecard with "Love Josh". Meaning, please??

Background: My boyfriend is very quiet type, sometimes we can drive for 2 hours on the road and he hardly says a word! And he is conservative in the sense he does not use those flowery word, such as sweety, horny, etc. He is a man type of man. Last week, he wanted to borrow my car. I told him I preferred he just take the bus or not go. But he insisted that he needed to go. So I gave in. When he was back, he sent me an ecard to thank me for being so understanding to him, and then he signed with, Love Josh. This was the first time he signed using word Love. Is he trying to tell me something? Since he is not the type to use those words lightly.

  1. I agree with Pinkmelon.

  2. Hopefully he is not just using you. Usually the first "I love you" is done face to face if it is meant seriously in a romantic sense.

  3. WOW!!! He loves you, hon!!! At least he's trying to do what you like!!!!! Go and kiss him and cook for him! He'd be in ecstasy!

  4. well, he just told you that he loves you. have you told him that you love him? you could email him back.... your welcome, i love you.

    good luck!

  5. It could have been his "real self" talking, maybe he's too embarrassed to say those things to your face but in an ecard he's more comfortable. He also could have typed it, meaning it, but not realizing he used the word "love".

He also could have been tired.

I dunno hon, but if he's your boyfriend it sounds like he meant it! Maybe he doesn't use the word "love" so loosely so that when he does say it it'll mean so much more. ;)

  6. Well it could have just been a slip, but if you really want to know you should ask him, directly or indirectly, or send him an email or something and sign it the same way. Another possibility is that the ecard automatically formatted the "love" in there and he didn't realize it.

  7. Yes :) He's trying to tell you that he loves you.

  8. I wouldn't read too much into it; he was probably just emphasizing his thanks for the loan of the car, since it was apparently so important to him. Wait awhile and see if it happens again before mentioning it.
