My boyfriend thinks im cheating, but im not... ?

my boyfriend of 5 years, and two kids later, thinks im cheating. hes been snooping in my email, checking my phone, searching my car for anything. and still accuses me when he doesnt find anything. hes not finding anything, so he gets mad. lol - anyway, im afraid my actions are what makes him believe this... i leave at weird times of the night when hes at home with the kids. but its just to go shop by myself, to get a break. he thinks i go and see someone. is this bad that i do this, and should i stop? or what can i do to prove to him, im really just enjoying the time by myself?

As bad as this may sound.... here goes....

Sometimes when your significant other is accusing you, when you know for a fact that you have done nothing wrong, is the one who needs to be accused.

Its just another warning sign that there may be deeper issues at hand than the ones being addressed.

sounds like he has some insecurity/trust issues to work out.  if you are not cheating, and he doesn't believe you, there really isn't much you can "do"...he is going to have to find a way to trust you.  if there is no "evidence" for him to find, let him look all he wants...eventually he should give up..

in the mean time, i would focus on improving communication between the two of you...he obviously doesn't understand your way of dealing with stress very well....the best way to have a successful relationship is to communicate, communicate, communicate

i wouldn't worry about him cheating on you, while I think the above suggestion does hold some relevance, this sounds more like insecurity than "the pot calling the kettle black"

there are really things that men still don't understand about women..whether you do good or not, they still think that you are doing something wrong..like cheating with him..the best thing to do is try to go out with him..even just once..so you can tell him what you usually do when you're alone..good luck!

flip the roles how would you feel ? i babysit my friends kids while her and her bf go grocery shopping they say its hard with kids its like a little break for them try the same. even for an hour get some one to watch them and take ur man on a picnic or just to a movie ,, try a date night at least once a week and it doesnt have to cost a fortune.
