My boyfriend violated probation

he was on probation for dui and unlawful flight from law inforcement and was placed on probation but he failed to see his po and knw he got caught with possesion of marijuna. will he be reinstated for probation or will he do time?

I'd say if he's a repeat offender they will more than likely go harder on him compared to the first time this took place.

Probation has conditions.  Those are the conditions under which one can avoid going to jail for the original crime.  When he violated those conditions he agreed to have the original sentence imposed.  When he violated by committing a new crime, he demonstrated that there is no point in offering him conditions for staying out of jail.

Probably jail. Why are you seeing this guy? He gets drunk, drives a car drunk. Runs froom the police. It is a blessing nobody died. Then he is lucky enough to get through it without killing other people or himself. He gets probation. He does not bother to see his PO, even though he KNOWS it will put him in jail and the idiot is walking around with a illegal substance. Whats the attraction? Do you think he is good father material for your children? He is going to support you and the kids and put them thru college? You can do better than this. If he cared anything about you, he would not be doing this.
