My boyfriend want to become a cop? in san antonio texas

so my question is? is do they have academy? that they have to attend? and do they have to go away? because i will miss him.. and if so where? i know its a dangerous job but its his dream.

San Antonio has a police academy that your boyfriend would have to attend. It is NOT a dormitory style academy like DPS, so he would not be living there during the 27 weeks of training. He would show up for class in the morning and go home at the end of the day, just like any regular job, so you don't have to worry about not being able to see him.

Ummmmm, I'm not sure if there's an academy there, but I'm pretty sure he will have to attend one....How long have you two been together?...If it's his dream job...let him live his dream.  I know you will miss him, but if it's meant for you two to be together, it will be and everything will work out.  Just pray for his safety if that's what you're worried about.  (That is, if you practice a religion that prays.)
