My boyfriends house mate is meddling in our relationship?

my boyfriends house mate always get involved in me and my boyfriends relationship and he has began snapping at me as though I was his girlfriend. How do I tell him to butt out without making things awkward?

Tell him this: "I don't want this to be awkward or anything, but you need to butt out. I don't want to have to say this twice."

Otherwise, you need to say something to your boyfriend. How does he feel about his roommate butting into situations that he's not a part of? Has he noticed it at all?
