Think about how long you've been together. I know one year for my boyfriend, I put together a photo album of all good memories and happy times. Something that you make and personalize will mean a lot more than a store bought item. I also this past year my boyfriend was going through a rough time around his birthday. I baught my boyfriend 2 balloons(one with a big smilie face) and 3 cards (couldn't decide haha) and left them for him when he came home from work, so that he had something to cheer him up a bit, he loved it. Get him something that he can wear/use to remind him of you.

My girlfriend gave me an obsidian bracelet and i whenever i look down at it, i think of her and smile.

My boyfriend's birthday is in three. I don't know if this helps or not, but I'm thinking about getting my boyfriend a girft card for either a music store or a store where he can get a new video game. I hope this helps!
