My braces are cutting the inside of my lip!?

My braces are cutting into my bottom lip. And it's way too late to go anywhere? What can I use as a substitute for wax? I don't have any candles or cotton.

Yep, gum will work, and sugarless would be best.

When I didn't have wax,

I put gum on the part that was

bothering me. :)

try some sugarless gum.  It's a little tricky to chew with braces but chew some and shape into a little ball or sausage and place over the brackets.  You could also try a little tissue or toilet paper  . You could also place a bit of tissue over the gum to reinforce the gum if it tends to come off too easily
