My braces gave me a gap!?

i just got my braces on 4 and half months ago. my teeth have already moved alot. but b4 the braces i didn't have a gap in my front 2 teeth and now i do. and now my other front top teeth are being smushed together. how long will it take for the gap to close? right now it's only wide enough to fit a needle threw.

Mine t doing the smae thing. NExt time you go, the ortho will fix it with a chain.
