My braces hurt and the gums by one of my teeth is bleeding is that normal?

Ive had my braces for almost two months and yesterday i went to the orthodontist to get them tightened the orthodontist told me i did a very good job keeping my teeth clean. But all of today and yesterday a few of my bottom teeth have been hurting and beside the tooth that hurts the most it is bleeding is this normal or not. What should i do.

uhh i dont remember bleeding? but i remember the pain its the worst pain in the world after giving birth lol the pain gets better in a couple of months just take tylenol and call ur orthodontist tomorrow :) good luck

ya normal chicka i remember when i had braces.... happend all the time, just dont floss or brush too hard to minimize the bleeding

i dont think its normal to bleed mine never had bleeding problems when it hurt. Call the ortho,

your teeth will hurt because they are moving. just think of the pain as a good thing! your teeth will be pretty in no time!

and for the bleeding thats normal, as long as it isnt constant.

if it is a heavy flow of blood then you might want to get it checked. but if not then dont worry about it.

just keep up the good brushing but dont brush to hard

its normal. brush gently for the next few days, and try using some moouthwash. if that doesn't work, tell the orthodontist next time you go in and they might be able to give you some funky mouthwash thats somehow different from all others (mine did when i had braces)

yeah its normal...when i had braces it happened only every 2 hours it hurt so bad but i guess it is worth it to have straight and perfect teeth...you should try using wax-ask your dentist--and put the wax on your braces that helps so that the braces won't cut your gums and then you won't bleed so much if not at all............i know it worked for me
