  1. Like April said, check your venues out and make certain that your colors won't clash with permanent decor items like carpeting, wallpaper, etc.  Lilac and champagne sound like you're planning a very elegant wedding, if you want to make it more modern and fun throw in some pretty mint greens or daffodil yellows.  You can throw any flowers you like into the mix--I work in a bridal salon, and usually tell brides to have fun with their flowers.  Monochromatic is fine, but I love seeing a mix, especially in the summertime.  The easiest way to pick colors is to get a color wheel, art supply stores have them, but you can also find them online.  Paint stores are another excellent place--just get the (free!) paint sample chips in the colors you're considering, put them together in a variety of lighting and see how they look together.  You can also usually get samples of fabric you're considering as well, since different fabrics look different even when they're the same color.  Color is the most fun, at least to me it is.  It's overwhelming, but the colors you choose really help set the tone for your wedding.  Have fun with it!!  Good luck!

  2. Lilac and champagne sound like a beautiful combination. If those are the colors that you like then you should definitly use them. You should also look at the colors of your ceremony and reception venue. You want to make sure that those colors won't clash with the decor of the venues.

If you go with lilac and champagne you could do some lavender roses for your flowers. Those are simple and very beautiful.

  3. lilac and chapagne are beautiful together.  You can add white or viory depending on your dress if you want soemthinga  bit more, but the two together are great!

  4. Great choice!  That will look very classy for your summer wedding!  The options are endless!

Why not try pairing a deep purple flowers with lilac and cream flowers?

  5. For summer I would stay light...You know what is a beautiful combination?  Tiffany blue and champagne or sage green, light coral and champagne; lavender and champagne; light rust and champagne; just stay light; Even think of a light champagne..a creamy color.
