  1. might be the way you drive

  2. fill up your gas tank and reset the trip to 0. drive for awhile then fill back up. divide the mileage by the gallons and that will give you the correct miles per gallon.

  3. It all depends on how you drive.

If you drive really fast, and accelerate very quickly you will get much worse gas mileage.

However there could be something just wrong with the car itself. You may want to go have it looked at.

  4. dont accelerate too fast do the speed limit. and you get less gas mileage in Traffic/city because you stop and go so on a high way you will get more..

  5. Really?  Our 08 civic gets around 40.  Are you driving highway or city a lot?  We drive it 60 on the highway and try not to be driving all over town for short trips.  Stick to the speed limit or below, easy on the gas after stopping.

  6. drive it off a cliff

  7. those numbers are estimates, "actual results may vary" depending on many things such as your driving habits, the type of gas you use and where you live.
