My brand new Nintendo DS Lite it's not recharging...?

Question

I already put it to recharge and nothing happen, even the unit plug on at the recharger, doesn't turn on anymore...

My husband already contact the store and the lady think that maybe it's the recharger, but I don't know...

Please, can someone tell me why this happen???

I agree with tracy.  Mine does not have a light on the charger itself, but you should see a light come on on the ds itself.  If the light is not turning on on the unit itself, take it back to the store something is wrong with it.  You will not loose game data though because it should all be saved to the cartridges.  Good luck.  You could also contact Nintendo tech. support and they can help you troubleshoot the problem if you want to.  They are pretty quick at answering so the wait time is not long (I have never had trouble with the tech. support).  Good luck!!!

The light on the charger should come on and the light on the DS too.

If no light on the charger, try a different socket.

If its still no good, its a fault - return to shop :(
