    buy the nit kit

    comb carefully and shampoo- twice

you gotta wash all the bedding... sheets, comforters, blankets because it spreads really fast...

  3. Stop worrying.

Loads of people get them – they actually like clean heads!

Now stop being daft and tell your mum.

  4. Wet his hair, smother it in conditioner and go through it with a nit comb

  5. Te tree oil & vodka

  6. mayonnaise, then wrap hair with plastic wrap for an hour.

  7. why dont you want your mum knowing? if one of you has nits, then you should all be treated.

  8. Nits are very common in school children and it is best you tell your mother as she will probably find out anyway and may be very angry with your DIY efforts

  9. The way people get rid of them is to get the special comb (drug stores have them) for them, and keep combing and combing the hair, a few strands at a time, until no more can be seen.  Even then, though, if the hair hasn't been treated even one egg can hatch (or unseen lice can still be there), and your brother won't be rid of them.

It really isn't fair not to tell anyone who lives with him, or his close friends, because everyone needs to check their own heads and maybe treat for lice.

Your brother is a little boy.  He probably isn't capable of getting rid of the problem himself.  If he's embarrassed about it just make sure he knows that lice is something an awful lot of kids get.

The other thing is, his bed clothes, any upholstered furniture he's been on, the car seat, etc. need to be well cleaned.  Your whole family will have lice if the problem isn't thoroughly dealt with, so he really should just let your mother know.

  10. Mayo. But unless he wants to be cleaning the whole house and doing every stitch of laundry. As well as smothering everyone Else's hair in mayo then he needs to tell your mom. She'll probably want to use something like ridx so that way she doesn't have mayo smell in her house for weeks.

    good Luck

PS If you don't clean EVERYWHERE then they will come back even stronger and more than likely everyone else in the house will get them.

  11. Why are you so scared to tell your mum? There are loads of products available from chemist these days to get rid of lice, just go in and ask there. But you shouldn't be embarrassed to tell your mum or anything, it's perfectly normal.

  12. gotta buy the nit kit

    comb carefully and shampoo- twice

take him and get a buzz cut

you gotta wash all the bedding... sheets, comforters, blankets because it spreads really fast...

  13. take him to a chemist and they will help you, some chemist give you free nit treatments when you show them the headlice

  14. It is natural for kids to get nits while at school as they spread around like wild fire. I would tell your mum, and you can get a treatment from the chemist.

You could also try putting some conditioner on your brothers hair and combing them out as they get trapped in it with it being quite thick. But you will still need the treatment though to kill the remaining eggs. Plus if he has them, everyone's hair will need checked just incase. Good Luck

  15. Im not sure why you dont want your mom to know, but with nits, you need to get physical and literaly pull them off the hair with tweezers or your finger nails. Its also easiest for you, since he is a boy and its summer, to shave his head. Getting lice isnt anyones fault, nor does it mean you are dirty, it happens to most kids at school age.

Nits stick to the hair and are very protected untill they hatch, treatments will most likely fail on killing them. Pull them out one by one or shave his head
