My broadband connection always gets disconnected???help pleaseeeeeeeee

I have a broadband dial-up connection and whenever i connect after 7-10 minutes or even less than that it is disconnected.I am not having any problem with my modem?What do you think the problem is and how can i overcome this????

  3. Perhaps it's a problem on your internet provider side or perhaps it's because you have too many simultaneous connections - which kills your modem (or router).

    If you are using a P2P client try limiting your overall connections in that program. 100 is a value that works fine for me.

    you either have one or the other.

    Dial up is a low speed connection to the server that is dialed up by the modem. You normally hear the audible tones of the modem dialing and connecting to the ISP service.

    Broadband is an 'always on' high speed connection and you have a filter on your phone line jack for broadband and phone service.

    I assume you have broadband, you may have to refer to your ISP provider via their help and support line.
