Question:

My brother's girlfriend steals my things-- what can I do?

My brother's girlfriend lives with us. She steals my things. I know it is her, because I find the stolen items in their room, or they are put back in my room after about a week, but in a very obvious spot. Last time, she stole the disc for my The Sims game, and I have yet to get it back. My mom won't defend me when I get angry and accuse her of taking my stuff. I don't want to have to hide every nice thing I own, and I am not allowed to get a lock-and-key installed into my door. What can I do? I am so mad about my game disc!

  1. here my answer tell your brother that she steals your stuff he will understand and break up with her than after that laugh and her and show her who boss her ok

  2. hide a video camera in your room and catch her on tape and then you have proof! and you can show it to your family and they will HAVE to listen!

  3. ok try talking to her and explain that what shes doing puts a lot of stress on you.  Or the next time she takes something have your mom search her room.

    Good luck!

  4. ask her about it

  5. sit down with her calmly and tell her that she should NOT even be in your room when you are not there. Also, tell her if she wants to borrow something, she should ask first. If she fails to these simple things, you  will file a police report on her for theft. Just threaten to do it, but don't actually do it. It's sad that your mom won't defend you in this matter. What about your brother or your dad? Someone should put a stop to this. If I were you, I would put a lock and key on the door, but do it with the door handle and not an extra lock and key. have your door k**b changed so you can lock it when you leave.

  6. For an older person like me it seems quite inappropriate for your brother's girlfriend to be living with you but perhaps no one in your household is concerned, so I'll leave that alone.  She'll keep bothering your things because you have no adult support, aka your mom.  One choice is go find a unique hiding place, or get a trunk with a lock.  Calling her out will probably only bring your mom, brother and her down on you.

  7. Bust her *** out, call her out on it with proof in front of everyone.

  8. o.k so no lock and key, but you can get those door alarm thingies which you just stick to the frame of your door with sticy backed pads. it will give a shrill alarm if the door opens. this will give her one h**l of a shock, and alert whopever is in that someones in your room.

  9. Steal her stuff and put it back in their room after two weeks.
