My brother's heal is bruised. We are going on a trip to Washington DC??? HELP!?

Okey so like 4 days ago my brother hurt his heal. We r leaving for DC on thurs. We r planning on like walking ALOT! any way to QUICKLY heal bruise? We r making sure he trys to stay off it as much as possible and go some DR scholl's. What is the best way to make sure he can walk painfree for like a long time

try soaking in epsom salts and having him walk tip-toed when he needs to get around ... bruised heels take FOREVER to heel b/c we use them in an everyday, high-impact way

yes, keep him off his feet. use an ice bag on the bruise for 10 minutes then remove for 10 minutes. repeat throughout the day. should be gone before u leave on your trip :)
