My brother and sister share a room and they are 2 years apart....

they are 7 and 9 ... my parents want me and my sis to start sharing a room but i dont want to share with her because I am 5 years older than her so she will be 10 when i am 15 and its a big difference .

The room is kind of small and I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions so I can still have my own room... I was going to say a curtain but idk?

  1. your sister and brother need to stop sharing a room,,

Your parents are right  you and sister need to start sharing room,,,, Stop acting selfish and become a loving sister,,, I always wanted a sister when I was small and never had one,, You need to think of what is right to do

  2. Move to a bigger room, keep a divider or a curtain in between. Or ask your parents to move to a bigger home

where each one of you will have a room for your own.

this is possible only if they can afford it.

  3. Well when  your sister and brother get older, its going to be very akward for them to share a room.

You'll do fine. Yea little sibs are annoying.

Get a curtian or devider or books shevles and now you have your own mini room. Maybe you two could take the biggest room in the house so when you get older you'll have the space. also bunk beds are a great idea. Most kids have those when they share a room.

  4. Sharing a room is fun. You just have to have the right attitude. I share a room with my little brother and I would not have it any other way. It opens up a great opportunity for bonding time. What part of sharing a room with your sister is causing you to feel such negativity ? Is it the privacy issue ? Is it because you feel that you two are not particularly close ? Do you find her annoying ? What ever the problem is, I am sure it can be easily resolved. The curtain idea is good start. Have a think about what else you would like to do to your room. Ask your little sister too. She might have some good ideas.
