  1. No.  The eye is the fastest regenerating tissue in the body.  But seeing a doctor is a good idea.

    .

  2. yes, i would take him to the doctor immediately! he may not be in that bad of shape, but it always a good idea to go see a doctor for something as potentially dangerous as this. And also when the scale is @ 8 he should see a doctor.

  3. its normal

  4. i say this might be serious, so take him to a docter.

  5. Hit with what? I shot myself in the eye with a air rifle about 6 years but i can still see about 90% so its all good...

Yeah i kno how stupid was i to shoot myself in the eye... lol

  6. Just be safe go to the ER. It could be damaged. If it is damaged immediate treatment will be needed. If left TOTALLY untreated it possibly could be permanently damaged. Hope your brother feels better.

  7. i would give him some ice to put on it and get to the hospital as soon as you can. i hope he is ok. please tell me how all goes. hope i helped.

  8. He may have damanged his eye and should see a doctor asap! Make sure he gets checked out, alright?

  9. He could have just broken a blood clot. This is very normal. As for pain, put ice on it, take Advil or Tylenol. Put polysporin around the eye, but not in it. make sure to leave .5 cm (5 mm) distance.

Let the eye heal and try not to disturb it. I may be wrong, don't hold my words against me please. Also, get him checked out by a doctor.

  10. my brother got hit in the eye with a beebee gun and his eye turned red and swollen and it looked like it was bleeding and he couldnt see in it but we took him to the doctor and he put stuff in it and the vision started coming back, same exact thing happened to my cousin too

  11. Trauma to the eye can cause iritis, scleritis and a high IOP (intraocularpressure) If it feels achey, throbbing or sensitive to light it could be one or more reactions to the trauma. Definitely see an ophthalmologist(not optometry) big difference. The cornea (clear part over the colored part) may have a scratch (abrasion) that may cause blur and need drops to treat infection and inflammation. If elevated IOP is an issue that can also be treated with drops to prevent damage to the optic nerve and vision loss. Best wishes

  12. take him to the ER asap !

  13. "is he in trouble?"  not necessarily, although this definitely warrants a visit to the eye doc.  the redness is the least of his worries.  the blurred vision is more of a problem.

go to the optometrist today.  walk in.

  14. That's why you have 2, put an eye patch over it if it looks that bad...

  15. He broke blood vessels in his eye that is why it is red!! Have your mom take him to the eye doc to have it checked!! My hubby got hit in the eye with a puck same thing he is fine..

  16. no that's really normal.

    jeeeez, go see a doctor.

  17. yOU SHOULD get him to a doctor because of a possible eye injury. I think he is experiencing eye trauma.

  18. Put some ice on it. See a doctor!

  19. aint sure possibly just bloodshot?

  20. The chances are likely that some damage has taken place, the question is how much and the only one qualified to answer that question in an ophthalmologist.  It could be from simple edema (swelling) to a broken orbital bone..... Wish you luck.

  21. And you are so concerned that your first reaction was to post this in YA ?????

(What's wrong with some people nowadays?)

  22. Usually after you get hit in the eye really hard it probably will get blurry. If he's not better in an hour or two he might need to go to the doctor..but they probably wont see him for a couple days anyways. But he's probably not in that much trouble. Just tell him to use ice and pain reliever like tylonal for the pain.

  23. Maybe he is he could have loosened his eye socket but its more than likely he burst a blood vesel in his eye leading to blurred vision, best get it seen to a professional.
