My brother in laws kitten is sneezing and is showing its 3rd eyelid with dirty eyes, goopy eyes...?

It's probably about 12 weeks old and he thinks that it will just go away. I think it needs a shot of antibiotics to boost it up bc it's a baby. Do you think it'll be okay or should it get a shot? Do you think it could die?

It sounds like an upper respiratory infection.  Very common in kittens.  Taking him to the vet would be the best option.

take the kitten to the vet. this is not normal and could be indicative of more serious problems.

Its probably an infection of some sort, and it maybe nothing too serious, however without an antibiotic, it could get very serious.  Just like if we had an eye infection, like pink eye, if we didn't get something for it, we could go blind from it if it got too bad.  I would definately have it checked.

It most probably has an eye infection or it could have some kind of serious disease that is finally showing its symptoms.  i would take it to the vet right away and not wait for it to get better because it could always come back.  best of luck :)

it IS time for a trip to the vets. more than likely you have 2 options of reasons.MOST LIKELY CAUSE is an upper respiratory infection, which needs antibiotics or feline leukemnia. Either yes can be fatal if untreated. This is the very short explanation, casue feline leukemia...I just dont have enough space for. want to lay odds? vet will dispense antibiotic for 10 days, say uri..& say if it doesnt get better, call me back. But yes, that baby needs antibiotics.

Also wipe that  goop off the babys eyes with a damp tissue & keep its nose wiped & clean too
