that depends on what kind of kid he is and how your parents feel about the whole thing. there are alot of reasons why a guy would want a earring. but time helps.

i just took my 13 year old to get two rings in the top of his ear. he is a good kid and decent student. he wasnt trying to be a tough guy or anything. i made him wait for quite a few months to make sure he was really set ont he idea.

At first I was wondering why people were saying no because I got my ears pierced when I was a couple months old. but then I re read the sentence and yeah he shouldn't get his ears pierced, he's a boyy!!

No.  Let him decide for himself when he is older.  I got my ears pierced when I was 8 years old.  My daughter is 3 and I am not going to pierce her ears unless she asks to have it done.  If she asks tomorrow, I will get them done tomorrow but as I said, the decision should be hers.
