My brother is 19 and he got arrested for disturbance in the nieghborhood and resisting arrest how long?

how long would he have to stay in for and do u think he have to be on probation?

  1. he would be in the slammer for no longer than a week with most likely having to do a lot of community service hrs.


  2. Few days in jail, maybe a fine, no probation.

  3. In CA, misdemeanor resisting arrest carries up to one year in County Jail and felony resisting arrest is punishable up to 3 years in State Prison.  

    And Yes, if convicted, he will be placed on some type of probation and/or supervision upon release from custody.

    The disturbing the peace in a minor offense.

  4. He probably would have gotten nothing for the disturbance. But resisting arrest is stupid and it doesnt work. The cops are always going to win at that point. Now he might actually get some time depending on how hard he fought.. Pretty stupid thing to do.
