Right now, I'm struggling between homework and friends and my boyfriend. I'm ranked very high in my school, but I'm still struggling to enjoy my high school experience. However, my brother has tons of issues of his own, and this has come to the forefront of my attention.

My parents put so much pressure on him, because they see how I succeed, and want him to do the same. However, he is sick of conforming and has begun to rebel. In addition to unhealthy internet habits and it's so hard for me to stop!

  1. hopefully  your brother is someone who will listen to some good advise and change his behaviors ... Its great you see your brother needs help and want to  help him... I just hope he listens... good luck to you...

  2. I really think you should talk to your parents. You sound mature, and you realize that by your parents putting the pressure on your brother, he is rebelling. So I would talk to your parents, let them know that you too are concerned , but that their way of handling this situation is NOT working, and it is creating more stress on you. Is it  possible suggest counseling? Not only for your brother, but  for the whole family. If you don't get anything resolved that way, you may want to talk with a school guidance counselor. I found my high school counselor to be extremely helpful. Good Luck!

  3. talk to your parents, talk to your school counsellor, encourage your brother to do the same.  Keep on with your life, his life and choices are his own.  Let him know that you are there for him.
