  1. If you can afford a new door handle, go ahead and break it down or just unscrew the old one. If his room is on the first floor, climb out the window.

  2. If the doorknob is busted, remove it entirely.  Pull it off.  Then, pull the strike out of the hole in the door and push it open.

  3. lol POP the hinge pins from the hinges

a screwdriver, pocket knife... will do it

just kind of hammer them up and pull them out

door will fall off the hinges and he can walk out

  4. Call the non emergency number for the police.

  5. The door is obviously swollen, so the fire department or a handy neighbor will do!!! Humidty is the cause, but the door needs to be shaved down somewhat so it doesn't stick anymore.

  6. unscrew the door k**b from the outside and remove your half. Then get him to send down some kind of string from his bedroom window and pass him the scredriver so he can undo his side. You should now be able to remove the mechanism and one of you should be able to force the door open

  7. take the doorknob off! just unscrew the screws that you see & it will come apart.

  8. Well, it really depends on how much you like your brother, just kidding!! Removing the 2 screws that hold the inner and outer k***s together should do it. Problem being the screws

are normally on the inside of the room, he will need the screwdriver.
