  1. Depends what he wants to do in the future but if he wants to go to university then he would have been better opting for more academic subjects: Math, English, History, Psychology, Philosophy etc. Sport and geography are a complete waste of time for academia studies.

  2. I think it really depends on which career he would like to pursue. If he would like a career in Sport which he is obviously good at, then the other A'level subjects will not help him, but if he would like to be a lawyer or go into business then they're great!

  3. Just a warning:

If that's A Level Sports Studies he may need to watch out. I know a few people who took it, including several who took A Level Biology as well and achieved As, and apparently the biology/anatomy aspect of Sports Studies is harder than it is in Biology.

What people have said above is fair, the subjects are not traditionally viewed up with the strong A Levels, but if they are playing to his academic abilities then that's fair enough.

  4. Well, law isnt widely recognised as an academic A-Level by most universities. Business studies is the same but not to that much of an extent, if he is looking to go into law or business then maybe he should take some more academic subjects like mathematics or english lit.
