My brother lied.....

Question

I posted this in the wrong section...so that's why I'm reposting.

Well, today my cousin, brother, and I went to school to pick up our schedules.

We had some time, so we split up (me and cousin vs. brother) and walked around the campus...my brother was with his friends.

So, I called and asked where he was in about an hour...because I couldn't find him anywhere...and he said that he was walking around.

My cousin and I decided to rest, so we sat down in front of the school.

Then, we see my brother coming out of his friends car (they're 16).

First, he lied and said he was in the school campus.

Second, he wasn't allowed to leave me and my cousin alone.

Third, he wasn't allowed to get in the car with his friends (my parents know his friends)

I thought about this long and hard, and decided that I wasn't going to tell my parents....

Do you think I should?

If not, what should I do?

This is driving my cousin and I crazy.

Oh, he said he went to "Starbucks" when I asked him where he was.

i dunno it is really upto you....if i were in your place..i wouldn't.  I have 3 older brothers and i am so close to them that i have stuck up for them and kept all of their secrets numerous times, as long as they are safe, and they wont be harmed.

u should leave it alone.  how would u feel if someone ratted YOU out.

Maybe he really did go to Starbucks. Secondly talk to him. tell him you do not like that he lied to you. maybe that will help. but do not tell your parents, you will just seem like a snitch.

Its honestly up to you, the way I see it though is that if there was no harm done then let it go and tell him next time he needs to do as he is told and that you're gonna let this one slide but you are'nt gonna cover up for him especially if he was'nt supposed to leave you and your cousin alone, and let him know the bad scenarios that could've happened with him leaving you and your cousin alone and maybe he'll think twice next time!!
