His questions is:

My bike has been showing me the following on the ignition since lately ( F1). It is a 2007 suzuki GSXR 600. I dont know if there are any sites that you can go to that will tell you what that means. If so let me know. It also had a over heating sign before the sign came on. Let me know

  1. Turn off the bike.  Then turn it on but don't start it.  Then turn it off.

    Then you start it again.  It should have reset the throttle sensor.

    Try it anyway.  It's cheaper than a new sensor.

    Maybe you should ease up on the throttle if it's overheating!!;-)


  2. It's not F1, it's Fi - as in Fuel Injection.

    It's the same as the "check engine" light in automobiles.

    When the Fi light comes on, it's informing you that there is a fault in the fuel injection system.

    Could be something as simple as an oxygen sensor.

    A service manual is needed to retrieve and decipher the code.

    It might be less expensive to purchase a manual and repair it yourself, then to pay a shop $80 an hour to figure out and fix the problem.
