  1. As above.

    R.I.P.

  2. I am very sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, you have posted this question on an open forum. The people reading it are just users of the service, like your brother was. You need to contact the administration people. Good luck.

  3. My condolences for the passing of your brother.

    - Contact Yahoo CUSTOMER CARE by clicking the button at the bottom of this page: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/re...  to make your request. Although, this is customer service, so you may need to contact them a few times to get a response. When dealing with customer service, sometimes it's necessary to be persistent.

    - Call 1-866-562-7219, 1-408-349-1572, 1-408-349-3300

    Hours: 8a-5p M-F (Pacific)

Make sure that you have as much information about his account on hand as possible - birth date, Yahoo e-mail address, 360 space web address, and etc.

UPDATE: While you may also need to send Yahoo a copy of the death certificate, that does not mean you should not contact Yahoo about it. You aren't asking for the account to be transferred to you. You just need to tell them what has a happened, so that they know to close it down in the first place. Bottom line: You will have to contact Yahoo with the necessary information.

  4. i don't have his contact???

  5. This is the link to the TOS (terms of service):

    http://info.yahoo.com/legal/us/yahoo/uto...

Under #27 it says: No Right of Survivorship and Non-Transferability.

You agree that your Yahoo! account is non-transferable and any rights to your Yahoo! ID or contents within your account terminate upon your death. Upon receipt of a copy of a death certificate, your account may be terminated and all contents therein permanently deleted.

Please understand - although this may sound hartless, it's not meant that way, I just wanted to let you know what can be done.
