  1. well marrows are really nice boards i would get him for a size about a 146  u could get him a forum, burton, 5150, those are all very good snowboarding companys

  2. yup, just find a morrow you would think would suit him, try and get a package that comes with boots and bindings installed, since he's around 5'4 I suggest getting a board that is atleast 4'9 so it's about up to his upper lip/nose.

make sure you get it setup so the bindings have the same amount of space from binding to end though. (the shop should be able to do this for you) because they might set it up so once side has more space than the other, and that is usually for powder riding :)

  3. then get him one genius....

  4. LOL get him a snowboard- one that is about his height is the perfect one i no that as a fact-

i actually prefer a video game /games or a soccerball or sports equipmet

  5. Yeah get him a snowboard but they can be pretty expensive. A beginners setup can cost around $300-400 for everything. Morrow is an alright brand i guess. Other good brands are K2, Flow, Ride, Flow, Burton, Nitro, etc...

  6. you really want to get him a snowboard?

do you know the cost of a board plus bindings, plus boots, plus gear is?

    upward of 500 dollars.

you might want to think about it some more.

  7. A snowboard would definitely be a nice gift, but I don't know if you know how nice of a gift it is.  Height isn't really a determining factor with the size of the board you need, it is the weight and shoe size of the person.  You see, weight and pressure determine how your board will ride.  If you are heavy, but with small feet, the weight will be distributed in a smaller area, causing a large amount of pressure in a small area.  If you are heavy with big feet, it is more evenly distributed... and so on and so on.

So find get his weight and shoe size, then go on google to find his size range.  By the way, the board should be somewhere between his chest and eyes, it shouldn't normally be the same height as him.

Now, I may be wrong, but I think Morrow's are a bit cheap... in a bad way.  If money isn't a factor, I'd go with a Burton Clash or Burton Elite.  They're fairly inexpensive boards(you can find them for about $300), but they are pretty high quality and great entry-level boards.  If you don't wanna spend a ton of money on a board, I'd get him a Lamar from Big 5(I believe they're $150-$250)

    Good luck!
