  1. OK HERES WHAT YOU DO , DOWNLOAD AVG FREE 8.O VIRUS SCANNER AND RUN IT AND THEN DOWNLOAD GARYS UTILIYIES FREE AND RUN THEM BOTH AND IM SURE IT WILL GET ALL THE BUGS OUT .THEY ARE FREE AND WORK VEY WELL , YOU WILL FIND THEM ON THE WEB. I HAD NORTON 360 AND I HAD ALOT OF VIRUS ON MY COMPUTER  SO DONT BUY IT . ALSO DOWNLOAD AD.AWARE FREE AND RUN THAT TO AFTER YOU DO ALL THIS IM SURE YOUR COMPUTER WILL RUN ALOT FASTER AND YOU WILL BE PROTECTED VERY VERY WELL

  2. A full recovery will get rid of everything - bad stuff as well as the good stuff. Basically, it will be just like when you first bought it.

  3. Hi!

I have never heard of VAIO Recovery, but if it restores your computer to the day you first got it then yes, any viruses will go with it. Keep in mind though that it will also delete any software, documents, music etc that you have ever put onto your computer.

  4. Look for a system restore.  If you reset your computer....all files are lost forever.  I don't think any virus is worth doing that.

  5. i Would advice getting Spyhunter. This one really removes a lot of infections. You Get daily updates, lots of live protection + SPyware Helpdesk function.

  6. Well if he wants to do a cleanup then he should reinstall windows. You do lose your data either way. But if you reinstall windows then you also remove bloatware.

But you should try antiviruses and antispywares first.

If you want to remove all your files(including viruses) I suggest reinstalling your OS like I said above.
