My brothers earrings?

my brother really wants his ear stretched and he says it will go back if he takes the earring out it will heal back but i don't think it will who's right if you don't know what i mean click the link below

orry to say the hole will not close after ive had my nose done for 20 years and that's not closed yet and its a smaller hole

Hi there,

I am an image consultant and I feel like I can help you with your question.  Your brother may not have done his research about "stretching" his ears.  As a matter of fact its almost irreversible through plastic surgery!  I tell my clients all the time who have gauges in their ears that the farther they spread it the less they have to work with if they ever want it to get surgically fixed.  Also, the age of your brother does take into account if he is young, I would say in his teen years, if he takes them out soon his body can do remarkable healing, as a matter of fact our ears and nose continue growing all the way through our lifespan--they never stop growing.  But the younger we are the faster the healing process is.  I would find a way to stop him from doing this b/c right now its a phase and fashion trend but it won't stick around, unless he wants to claim it as a cultural tribute I don't see many future employers thrilled to hire someone with gauges in their ears to represent their investments.  Like many boys do they don't think long term.  Help him think about this in a long term aspect maybe he'll change his mind.

ermm.. they wont grow back, you have to have them stitched, which look horrible!

No it won't plus it will smell i know a few people who have them that got use to them but i couldnt imagine myself with them in 20 years to come
