  1. Its probably still good.

Let it come to room temperature before trying to break it up.

Brown sugar keeps best in an airtight cannister (tupperware or suchlike) at room temperature. To help keep it from hardening, lay a small piece of aluminum foil on top of the sugar with a small slice of apple on top of the foil. The moisture from the apple slice will act as a humidifying agent and prevent the sugar from getting rocky, while the foil protects the sugar from direct contact with the apple.

  2. take it out of the fridge. Put a slice of fresh bread in the sugar bag or container and seal it up airtight. It will get soft again from the moisture in the bread.

You don't need to keep brown sugar refrigerated. It will dry out over time anyway, but it will dry out faster in the fridge because that appliance removes humidity. However, you can do the bread trick repeatedly whenever you need to.

  3. scrape/smash with a spoon, it will just have got a bit damp. shouldn't be anything to worry about

  4. Shouldn't put it in the fridge.  Put it in the microwave with a small cup of water, and run it for a 5-10 seconds until it get's' soft.

  5. Think you'd better start praying to the Gods. try THOR hes a big Hammer.#

  6. my brown snake is as stiff as a stick

  7. It's still fine. Just put some in the microwave for a few seconds and it will soften right up.
