My budgie abondon her eggs last night and this morning she sat on them will they be alive or dead?

my budgie has sat her eggs for 13 days but last night she just came out of the nest and sat on a perch for the night but this morning she sat back on them..will the chicks be dead or alive :(:(

Well...think of in life outside the cage...when the mommy bird has to leave to go get food. For hours. I've never had a bird, but I think 13 days sitting and one night off, they should be fine.
