My budgie has been scratching and cleaning himself a awful lot. Does he have lice or mites?

my budgie is a scatching machine. he scratches a lot more often then normal. i think he has mites or lice. but i don't see any bugs on him. his pink cere is partly blue.

Sounds like dry skin. Birds need a bath or misting at least twice a week.

it probably has dry skin buy it a humidifier and set it next to its cage if it still does it after that you should take it to the vet
