My budgie is lonely and bought him a friend?

my budgie seamed lonely so i bought him a friend and he seems to hate the friend the budgie kissed him self in the mirror thats why i bought the new budgie

Try removing the mirror first before you take the other one back. My budgie can be very aggressive sometimes when he has his mirror.

Also its important that the budgies are the same age other wise one will dominate the other

What if you put the budgies in their own cage but next to each other?? That way they can communicate with each other - removing mirrors

Give them some time!

Have you tried teaching your budgie to talk, whistle or make kissing noises? If you have time to do this, it can eliminate the feelings of lonliness!

Yes, you shouldn't buy a new budgie. It will just attack it, as the budgie feels it is it's cage not the other budgies.

Kissing it's reflection, is a sign of happiness lol. I suggest taking the new budgie back.

It will just destroy its relationship with you, and will upset the new one.
