  1. Yes it sounds like they are getting into breeding mode. I suggest you start doing some research on breeding budgies if you plan on having babies.

  2. This does not necessarily mean they have or are going to breed, at the moment it generally means they are well-bonded and are showing lots of affectionate behaviour towards each other by regurgitating.

  3. I can't tell you when or if they're going to breed, but that is DEFINITELY a sign of affection.

breeding does seem likely, however, though how soon can't be known for sure.

for now, be happy that they actually like each other.

  4. Not necessarily. Birds do feed eachother before and during breeding but also as a sign of affection. my lovebirds always feed eachother, even when they arent breeding. They just love eachother and are looking out for eachother.

  5. Yes, they do this at breeding time. Maybe the breeding has already begun. They will feed each other as they incubate the eggs and both will feed the chicks. Feed them more than just bird food while this cycle continues. Read up on it while you wait.

  6. They probably already have or they will soon PROMISE.

  7. Thats so cute. My budgies used to feed each other. Feeding each other may show affection but that doesn't mean they will breed. They could just be really good friends. They could be aswell. My budgies are feeding each other as well. I think they might be breeding as well. You'll know when the time comes.

Good luck, if you have baby chicks

  8. Awww that's cute...

It's hard to tell because budgies are like humans - they're VERY social. They share food like humans and they get drunk if you put beer in their cage..

But the best thing is to do some research and maybe it will show up.
