  1. shes probly having wat we call a period

if she dose start mounting thigs then she must be lonly get her a teddy or another rabbit your choice if this still contines take her the vet but im pretty shure its nothing so calm down =)

  2. Don't worry, female rabbits have that a lot. Unless if there is actual blood in the pee there is nothing wrong.

It just means that she maybe ate something that had a little too much protein or other nutrient in it and she's getting rid of the extra.

Now if there is actual blood in her pee, then you need to take her to a vet because something's bleeding in there. But if it's just red orange pee that smells strong, it'll go away soon enough. No problems there.

And for all you people who don't seem to know this, rabbits do NOT have periods! They are always in heat. If they had periods the way humans do it would never stop!!! They're always ready to mate.

    Hopefully nothing is wrong! =)

  3. 1. Rabbits do not come into "heat". They are induced ovulators and can breed at any time.

    2. If there is blood in the urine, it often does not change the color of the urine. It's generally very hard to see that your rabbit is peeing blood.

    That said...

This sounds completely normal. Rabbit urine changes color depending on what they eat, but it ranges in color from yellow to red. One thing that may cause discolored urine is too much calcium in the rabbit's diet. One thing that can cause this is too much alfalfa.

Do you feed your rabbit hay? If so, is it alfalfa? If you are already feeding an alfalfa-based pellet, adding alfalfa hay to the diet is too much for senior rabbits (over 6 months old). Instead, I would suggest timothy hay or a mixed grass hay.

Overall though, it sounds healthy. And unless you're feeding lots of foods high in calcium, she should be fine.

  4. Rabbits have red-orange pee.  Its normal.  Their pee can be any color between yellow and red.  Make sure she is getting lots of water, hay, and veggies and she will be fine.

  5. idk but mayb rabbits have ther period

i know tht dogs do if they r not nudered i

wud take ur bunny to the vet

  6. Its a little gross, but I think that she is in heat. You could get her spayed so it doesnt happen again. And if she's "mounting" things, while her pee is like that, she probably wants to breed. Hope this helps.  : )

  7. take her to the vet immediately. there must be some thing wrong.

  8. Rabbits do not bleed when they go into heat. It may have been something you fed her or a UTI infection. I would take her to a vet http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/vet.h...

  9. omg! my rabbit's pee looked like that! it was because i gave him too many carrots too often. so give her less carrots!

    good luck!
