My burned cd wont play on my dvd player

Question

when i download and burn torrent files the dvd works fine but i just downloaded real player and burned the dark night to my usely dvd with express burn and it burn properly but it wont play on my dvd player am i doibg something wrong

Before I start, people that are here to nag and say "Don't DO that!", please leave...

My best guess would be to check if you can watch the video at all. Check if it's the wrong format or if your DVD can't support the video format.

Try a different burner. Maybe the one in my sources. It costs $25 for the DVD burner, but it is really good.

If all this fails, go back to downloading from torrents or maybe get a different torrent of the movie.
