My new dvr has everything in place to do such a thing except for an obvious"nanny cam" declaration of internal hardware. The display field could include a miniature cam without my knowing it. The fact that it is made like a computer-(hard-drive,expandable ram and a modem) , has me concearned only in that I could be being watched either live or time delayed.

  1. I have the Motorola DCT-6412 (I think)...I would just advise you not to sit their naked on the couch and spank it to the pay per view p**n with the "On demand" feature.

Paranoia anyone??? My life habits would be so boring to watch on a hidden "nanny cam" anyway. Drinking beer, watching c**p TV, yelling at my daughter to NOT jump on the couch, etc...BORING!

  2. Get out your tinfoil hat and brush up on your conspiracy theories.  That's nonsense.

  3. h

  4. Yup. Be careful, the boss is watching.

  5. I really wouldn't be surprised if that is already happening with certain things.  This world has gotten soooo bad.  Its crazy what people would do to keep an eye on the world.

  6. spend 99 cents and get a roll of electricians tape. Tape over said opening. Voila! no more spying. Also works well on check engine lights.

  7. I have a dvr box and mine does not have a lense i don't know why yours would and why your so paranoid.

  8. I don't know but that's pretty scary! You have me looking at mine now.

  9. I suppose anything is possible, I don't think your cable co. would want to open up themselves to that sort of liability.

  10. If you are really worried sweetie...Cover the thing with something...and enjoy your movies and shows!!!

  11. You're being too paranoid!

Return it then if that's how you feel and watch your TV programs using TV antenna.
