My cable tv is acting up? whats wrong.

ok for the past 1 1/2 weeks my tv has been f*cking messed up. and i know the tv is not to blame

heres what happens.

1.sometimes the screen stands still(picture) for up to 1 minute.

2. the screen goes black and there are only 3 channels that will work the rest are well just black up to 2 hours.

3.sometimes the screen gets pixilated.

whats wrong!!!.

i know its not my tv. because we have 3 other tvs and they work fine but do the same thing.

Take to Sears sometimes they fix tv.Or go to someother store.

get satellite cable suxs in you get more channel for your money when you have regular cable and you have a bad storm coming in it will s***w it up real bad

Your should get a satellite dish because, it has a good signal. Or check the wire.

How long have you had cable?  The longer the drop cable is in place, the more susceptible it is to weathering (cracks in the insulation) and corrosion on the connections.  The drop cable is the one from the pole to the house interface box.  Call your cable company and ask them to check it out, as all of your sets display the same condition and you feel that the problem is with the cable and not your sets.
