Question:

My cabletv wire is upstairs,i need it downstairs,drilling is not allowed.are their wireless connectors,ideas??

so my mom will not allow drilling, and the floor is wood but i need it down in the basement(directly below), to hook up to my tv. are their wireless connection devices? or do i just have to keep bugging her about drilling through the floor. and any ideas owuld be awesome to :)!

  1. I wouldn't drill through the floor. Get a professional to drill in the wall, and put a cable connector on the wall, just like a phone jack. It can be run through the walls to the basement.!!


  2. There really is no practical way to wirelessly send the whole cable signal from one place to another.

    I'm sorry, but your best bet is to call the cable company and have them move the one outlet or add a second outlet.  They will do it outside the home which is the right way.
