My calf muscles always cramp up and tighten whenever I run and then have to stop at a light?

Or if we do speed interval training, my calves tighten up alot and I can't keep my stride. I am fine on the first two sets. After the second recovery and we start again, my muscles will start to hurt. Am I not stretching enough? It always happens when I run, stop, then continue running. What are some more stretches I can do?

  1. Take glucosamine/chondroitin every day, And stretch too.
