My camera doesn't show in the computer.?

Question

I have a Kodak camera. When I take a video and play it in the camera, the video plays but audio doesn't. That doesn't bother me. When I upload it to the computer, it doesn't play. How can I fix this? I tried many different extensions by renaming it to files such as .mpeg, .wmv., .avi. ect. It started off as a .mov

.mov is the extension for QuickTime. Download and install the current version here:

http://www.apple.com/downloads/

Simply renaming the file with a different extension will not change the format.
