My camera has pictures, but when i upload them onto the macbook, they dont show up?

its a panasonic lumix mega O.I.S. camera, and i am trying to upload pictures onto a macbook. the pictures show up in a folder, though when i try to put them into iphoto, they do not show up. they dont load, and i dont know what i should do..

try your "Finder"... go to "pictures"...look for a folder that ays "roll 1, 2, 3, etc" then open iphoto...go to import and click on the roll you want to import.

Use the application called image capture it works really well
