  1. Maybe either the memory stick broke. Or if its not taking pictures then maybe the lens or the part where you see the person to take pictures if broke. Your welcome for the help :)

  2. Maybe that memory stick broke or froze. I recommend you try to put another one to see if it works. If not, then maybe the camera memory slot not working. Another problem is if the memory stick has more space than that camera can hold ( Ex. If your camera can hold up to 2gb, if you put 4gb in there, it won't work ), the camera won't recognize it.

  3. If you have a high capacity card such as 4GB, 8GB, or in some cases, even 2GB, older cameras will not be able to recognize the card and you won't be able to use it. Try using something lower and see if it works. Also, it could just be that the card isn't formatted. If you have a card reader built in on your computer, simply insert the card and go to My Computer. Find the drive letter of your card (usually drive F: or G:, look for Removable Drive; if there are many, double click through all of them until you have one that opens up blank and doesn't give you an error message). Right click on that drive and click on Format, then choose FAT32 (if available, if not, choose FAT), check "Quick Format", and click OK. Hope this helps!
