My camera is black??!?!?

Question

Well i have a m425 camera from hp photosmart. When I uploaded my videos about 2 weeks ago they were fine. Now when i upload my videos the sound works but the video is just black. I asked a hp personal what was wrong and she said it was windows media players fault and i needed to upload and new version. But i have the lastest verson. Also for some reason my videos work on quicktime player now and they used to not. Well please try to help, im stumped.

I can see the video fine.  Just to make sure I understand, can you see your videos that you put on your camera before uploading them?  What about after uploading them to Youtube?  If the rest of us can see your videos, then it's probably not a camera problem.  Trying going to www.download.com and downloading new software.  VLC is very good.  It plays pretty much anything and is better behaved than Windows Media Player.

Ok, here's the problem. Black cameras don't work unless you give them batteries with high glucose content, a chemical you're familiar with if you enjoy sweet foods like watermelons. You also need to wash the screen off with some alcohol and maybe use some fried chicken skins to gently remove dirt from the lens.
