  1. Ummm, put it in the...closet.

And then buy a new camera...Canon, etc.

    Not some c**p brand.

  2. get it fixxxxed at the place you bought it.. or bring it back if its not too late lol...

  3. If you want to mess with it you could cover the flash with a single layer of tissue paper to dim it.

  4. Get rid of it if it gives you nothing but grief.  Give it to a younger sibling, or cousin or a friend's kid brother or sister.

And go buy a good, (real!) camera.  Maybe a Canon, Sony, Nikon, Olympus, Kodak and Fuji.  (I personally like the Canons.)  To help defray cost of purchasing a new camera, pick a camera model that uses the same media memory card as your hp camera.

You'll find the above brands and specific models that can fit your budget at Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Ritz Camera, and even office supply stores like OfficeMax, Office Depot and Staples.

    Good luck.

  5. I am not sure how you determined, that your camera is a g*y (does it prefer to go out with cameras of the same gender? How do you determine it's gender anyway?), but from what I know many g**s are much better artists than straight people. So you should be happy it is!

As to flash issue - I answered a somewhat similar (though not exactly the same) question just yesterday. Please look it up, and see if it will help you any:

    LEM.

  6. try putting sunglasses infront of the flash. to reduce the brightness a little.

  7. Try standing back a ways and zooming in on the people.  The flash won't be as bright if you are farther away from them.  Or tape a piece of tissue paper over the flash.
