My camera is showing a white screen when on?

my camera is a SANYO VPC-5500 my sister took it too our park to take pictures and she says she didnt drop it. it wasnt raining and its not wet its just when i turn it on its a blank bright white screen but if you angle is a certain way you can BARELY see a outline will i have to pay to get it fixed????

yeah. the same with my camera but it turned out to have a black screen instead. mine was a casio QVR40 camera.

My cam's prob is on its shutter. there's a string attached to the moving shutter that is entangled so the technician fixed it in an hour and voila i have it again.
