My camera screen broke. About how much would it be to fix it?

Okay, I paid a hundred bucks for this camera like a couple of months ago... like January or something... I took it to school to take pics of my friends & my boyfriend then. I got home & the screen was all wacky. Like it was all white with random colored stripes across it. I was just wondering how much it would cost to get it fixed.

You really cant fix it.....stuff like that is usually a manufacturers default and your camera should have a one year manufacturers warranty if you bought it at circuit city or anything like that! you should take it back to the store and they will ship it back and replace it :) hope that this helps

A $100 camera is not worth trying to get fixed. You will have to buy a new one.

However, the camera is still under warranty, so you may be able to exchange it for a new one if the fault was not caused by you...

Hope you still have the receipt?

Check your warranty.

Search on the web for the camera model and "screen problem" and see if this is a known issue with a solution that you can do, such as a reset problem.  

Also try taking out the battery and leaving it over night—that will often clear up a firmware error that might be causing the problem.
